Pepper - Corno di Toro Giallo
I got these seeds from Annie's Heirloom Seeds. An Italian sweet frying pepper, Corno di Toro Giallo translates to Yellow Bull's Horn, or Horn of the Bull, Yellow. These peppers are long and thin, often measuring 8-10 inches long and 2-3 inches wide. Prolific yields freeze well or can be used any way you'd use a sweet bell pepper. These plants get tall, often in excess of 4 feet, and they do require staking, caging, or trellising to keep them from dropping branches. Peppers mature from green to yellow. The only complaint I found from people who've grown this variety is that they can take their time maturing and sometimes for shorter season growers that can mean less yield.
