Pepper - Criolla Sella
I got these seeds in a swap. Criolla Sella is a member of the Capsicum Baccatum family. It comes from Bolivia and is also called Aji Criolla Sella. These little peppers measure about 2 inches long and are just brimming with seeds. They produce well, even in cooler temperatures. I've found mixed reviews as to how hot these peppers are. Some swear they're mild, but some reviews claim they've got quite a kick. I did find one reference to a 30,000 Skoville unit measure on these peppers. They ripen from green to a mango orange/yellow color and have a citrus flavor. The plants stay short (2-3 feet tall) and are prone to spreading out rather than staying upright. They can be grown in containers.
