Pepper - Cubanelle
I got these seeds from Trade Winds Fruit and from a trade. Cubanelle peppers are part of the Capsicum annuum family. They ripen from a yellowish green to red, but are almost exclusively used in the green stage. The Cubanelle pepper, as the name might suggest, is a staple in Latino recipes, particularly Cuban, Puerto Rican, and Dominican. It is also called Italian Frying Pepper, Aji Cubanela, Pimienta de Cocinar, and Aji Chay. It is commonly used in recipes such as sofrito and yellow mole sauce, as well as being used for stuffing, frying, grilling, baking, and as a pizza topping. With a heat range of 0-1,000 Scoville units, this pepper is mild, but can sometimes have a little heat. Plants grow 2 - 2-1/2 feet tall and peppers get 4-7 inches long and are banana shaped with a slight taper. Cubanelle peppers have thinner walls than bell peppers and are preferred for grilling or baking due to the lower moisture content.
