Pepper - Peach Fantasy
I bought this variety from Vertiloom. I'm not sure if this is the same variety as Aji Peach Fantasy (which appears to have a different shape). The place I bought it from says it's still not completely stable in regards to the shape, but it is supposed to be bell shaped. Peach Fantasy is a Capsicum baccatum, though the reviews I could find did describe it as a milder hot pepper with a sweet fruity flavor. The two Scoville ratings I found for this variety were so wildly different, that I'm not sure which is correct. If both are to be believed, this pepper is somewhere in the rather wide range of 5,000 - 30,000 Scoville units. It can be eaten fresh or can be used for stuffing. The bushy plants grow to about three feet tall and produce very high yields. The crunchy texture makes this juicy thick walled pepper a viable option for stuffed snacking peppers.
