Pepper - Pimento, Yellow Cheese
I got these seeds from Bunny Hop Seeds. Often described as "squash shaped" these peppers remind me of Rouge vif d'Etampes or Cinderella pumpkins. They have clearly defined lobes and are short and squat, a "flattened pumpkin" shape might be a better descriptive statement. The peppers measure 3-inches wide and ripen from green to yellow, eventually turning an orangish color. A member of the Capsicum annuum family, the plants grow 18-24 inches tall. Despite finding several seed vendors for this particular variety, it seems the descriptions are largely the same, or slightly re-written with the same information. It is considered a mild pepper, and is used fresh or for cooking. It has thick walls, so really the only thing I didn't see it recommended for was drying.
