Pepper - Prik Kee Noo Suan
I got these seeds in a trade. Prik Kee Noo Suan (Capsicum frutescens) is a hot pepper from Thailand. Translated it means "Rat Turd" or "Mouse Shit" Chili. When dried, these peppers look just like their namesake. At just 1/2 to 4 cm long, these tiny peppers pack a huge punch. I found two differing ratings of 70,000 and 100,000 - 250,000 Scoville units for these peppers. Either way, big heat in a very small package. The plants grow to 24 inches tall and they do just fine in containers. Peppers mature from green to orange to red and are productive. This is a very popular pepper in Thai and India cuisine.
