Pepper - Purple Marconi
I got these seeds from Trade Winds Fruit. Purple Marconi peppers (Capsicum annuum) are an heirloom Italian sweet pepper. They mature from green to dark purple (possibly to red after that), and measure 4-8 inches long, tapered with a blunt end. These high yield plants grow to 3 feet tall. The thin walled peppers are often used for drying or roasting, stuffing, or cut into rings for salads. They may turn back to green when cooked, so if you want the dramatic color, use them raw. These are sweet peppers with no heat. There are also (more common) golden and red versions of this pepper.
