Pepper - Robustini Pepperoncini
I got these seeds from Kitchen Garden Seeds. An Italian Capsicum annuum, Robustini Pepperoncini is a hybrid pepper meant for pickling. Peppers grow 2-3.5 inches long by 1 inch wide and mature from lime green to red, though they're almost exclusively used in the green phase. Thin walled peppers are added to straight white vinegar and left to pickle for up to six months. They will lighten in color over time in vinegar. Prolific production is reported for this variety.
