Pepper - Santa Fe Grande
I got these seeds from Bunny Hop Seeds. Easily used as an ornamental, these 36 inch tall Capsicum annuum plants produce a plethora of 2-5 inch long peppers that ripen from ivory yellow to orange to red, and they display dozens of them in various stages of maturity all at once. They can be grown in containers, or in the ground, and with just 500-700 Scoville heat units, you can use them like bell peppers. Eat them fresh in your salad, freeze them, grill them, or pickle them. These are good all-around peppers. Santa Fe Grande is also called Guero Chile, and it is Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV) resistant. Released/introduced in 1965. These peppers do well overwintering indoors.
