Pepper - Stavros Pepperoncini
I got these seeds in a trade. A greek version, supposedly much better than American versions of the pepperoncini. These peppers are milder than a jalapeno, maturing from yellow/green to red, they are used almost exclusively green for pickling. Plants grow 18-36 inches tall and could use some support. One reference claimed these plants easily produce 10 pounds of peppers per plant, up to 30 pounds per plant! This Capsicum annuum does tend to take a little longer to germinate, so expect a 2-3 week germination period.
